  Treehouses, Huts & Forts...

This book is filled with fun projects for kids and their parents to build in their backyard.

It begins with a section on basic carpentry and continues with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on building treehouses, forts and huts.

It concludes with a section on "cool stuff for kids to make" such as treasure chests, cannons, catapults and several fun projects to build in the snow.

This 95 page book is spiral bound to lie flat while working and is fully illustrated by the author.

"How to hammer, how to saw, how to dream.
The perfect guidebook for kids."

"Reviews from original book: "

This is a must have book if you are handy and have kids!!, May 15, 2001
Reviewer: Dan from Columbus, MI USA
I owned this book as a child and used it for small projects such as the cannon (my attempt of it at least) and dreamed of someday being able to build the larger projects. Now as a father, I want to build the pirate ship detailed in the wonderful illustrations of this book.

GREAT Inspiration for creative building! August 23, 2000
Reviewer: Thom Cheney from Portland, OR USA
I originally bought this book before I ever owned a drill or saw. The ideas are inspirational & highly creative! David Stiles is the common man's Disney... Now with wife Jeanie, they are "hammering" out a do-it-yourself empire.

A Must Have for All Parents, February 14, 2000
Reviewer: Tabitha H. from Tampa, Florida
I obtained this book from a library and fell in love with it. After unsuccessful attempts to purchase it, I copied the entire book, and EVERY page was worth it! It is full of wonderfully creative projects to make with your children. I especially liked the tank made from plywood. It is self propelled and comes with a gun thats quirts water (made from a bicycle pump!). Get your hands on this book any way you can - your kids (and all the kids in the neighborhood) will thank you for years to come!

A fun trip to the world of out-doors entretainment., January 10, 1999
Reviewer: A reader from Buenos Aires, Argentina
This is an incredible book. It displays lots of projects which demonstrate the authors boundless imagination. You can find tree houses, lake structures, wooden trains and much more. I have never been able to build any of these because I do not have a garden which is big enough. But the ideas are great. I used to read it as a kid, but unfortunately I have lost it. I hope I can get it back...
